This Indignity and Stress

I am stressed.

It seems it is been ages since I last posted something on my blog.

I am asked to design a newsletter for my organization. Well, designing is not much. In fact it is ready with me. Thanks to MS Word. Now what about the content? This is going to be either 4 or 8-page publication, monthly or quarterly (something to decide). I am confused. Everyone seems to be busy at their own table.

I have edited and coordinated a journal at the college. Well, if it is a college newsletter, a few essays, short stories and poems could do the trick. But for an organization, they make less sense.

People want to know what is happening in the organization. Employees want to know what their organization has in store for them and clients seek information on new services and products. That’s worth taking notes. What are some of the important things that our employees can be proud of? What are new services and products our clients can expect from us?

But now who is going to furnish all these information? I said people are busy. So, if some of my crazy writings find their place in this newsletter, I won’t be surprised. But I am still confused. I am stressed.

Last week (for the first time since my joining this organization) made me feel undignified to be here. This happened for the first time. It is moments as this that makes you regret your decision to be sitting here. It is what makes you feel like shit. And it is when these ‘big people’ treat you as if you are their threatening enemies. Anyway, that’s that. I salute men of such caliber and ego!

And still I am unsure as to what I am supposed to feed this newsletter.

  1. Hey Man, one man cannot come up the newsletter for the organisation like yours. You have to really do research and that requires really your interpersonal skills and networking...

Rest, you know how words should play their freedom on the paper...

  2. I man should not dishearten you, You should be the last person to accept the indignity upon yourself. Don't feel it, it's not good. Those men with anger and ego are their own enemy, they are at war against themselves, pity them well. They will last short.

Well the newsletter; It seems like you have the objectives of the paper already. Your organization has lots of fresh thing to talk about this year, 1. ATM in Wangdue, 2. Internet Banking, 3. Mobile BAnking, 4, Core Banking,
Write about the advantages of these facilities for people in examples... You know my wife was down in Phuntsholing sometime ago, she carried her ATM Card because cash is risky, so when ever she need cash she withdrew from the ATM. When she needed more she phoned me to deposit in her account. That's how convinent life has become after this facilities came about. There are lots to write about friend just relax, take a shower, and start sorting things out, one by one!

Tell me what you have done!

Utpal Academy - Bhutan's first All-girls High School

Academic Block Welcome to Bhutan’s first all-girls school. Isn’t that wonderful news to all our parents? Certainly, as a parent of a one-year old daughter I am excited about the coming of a school exclusively dedicated to the needs of girls. Our girls need special treatment, which we can for sure entrust the responsibility to Utal Academy, Paro. Dinning Hall I really like the name – Utpal – in Buddhist world, Utpal is another name for lotus flower, which is believed to grow from mud and yet blossoms into a beautiful and majestic flower. It stands for purity and many deities are depicted holding flower Utpal, more prominently Jestusn Dolma, the Goddess Tara. Symbolically, it also stands for the transformation of our girls. What an apt name for the school! Hostel Room The Principal’s message posted on the academy’s website promises providing our young women an “opportunity to participate fully in a wide range of extracurricular activities to develop skills and qualities that

Unblocking

That in the end is what we make out of it. After all, a block is something everyone suffers once in a while, but they have overcome it by doing more and more regularly. Such is the power of practice – you can already feel it coming back. Such is the power of consistency - imagine how much better it would come out if we do it on a more regular basis.    I am a firm believer that we need practice but have failed more than once to keep up to that belief. Now I believe that everyone does this regularly. That's why, I need to invest more time and effort in honing this skill. I know I have deviated a lot from my original thought process, and I am aware of it. But I am also doing it with a purpose. And that's to say that I am going through a lot these days and have failed to express myself more effectively.

Fighting RCSCE-phobia

Now that the orientation is over, graduates all over Bhutan would be hunting for information and scratching through all our history books. And in absence of readily available information, it is going to be so frustrating for many. There are are aspirants like Tashi.P Ganzin who are already seeking divine intervention- whether to appear or not to.  This is the biggest moment in a graduate’s life – it’s time to learn and relearn so many things about the home and the world. And they need good attention from their parents and relatives, guidance and advice from elders. I am sure all 1300 graduates who attended the NGOP may not appear RCSC Common examination, but we need to inspire and encourage those that brave the odds. Many of my friends are waiting to take the exam of their life – their future will either be made or broken when RCSC declares the results. And my full prayers and support are with them. They are terribly afraid of it to say the least. I heard while there are no prob
